Ko Olina Beach Park & Lagoons, Oahu, Kapolei, HawaiiThe lagoons at Ko Olina Beach Park offers a safe snorkeling environment for snorkelers of all experience. These lagoons are being developed by several nearby resorts and despite only being 5 feet deep, you can expect to see a good amount of tropical fish.
The lagoons may become crowded so we recommend arriving early to ensure parking. The man made lagoons are named: Ulua Lagoon, Nai’a Lagoon, Honu Lagoon, Kohola Lagoon and the path between lagoon 1 to 4 is about 1.5 miles in distance. You can expect to encounter Barracudas, Butterflyfish, Cornetfish, Dascyllus, Goatfish, Moorish, Sergeant, Silversides, Surgeonfish, Tang, Wrasse, Some Coral, a lot of Sea Urchins and possible a Sea Turtle.
