Lawa'i Beach

Lawa'i Beach, Lawai Rd, Poipu, HI 96756 is a popular snorkeling location that is easily accessed. This location has a vast amount of marine life which includes Butterflyfish, Coris, Drummer Fish, Gregory, Hawfish, Moorish Idol, Parrotfish, Sergeant Fish, Surgeonfish, Tang, Unicornfish, Wrasse, Corals, many Sea Urchins, and sometimes Sea Turtles.

This beach has some unique features that include protecting reefs that make this a great location for beginners to snorkel as long as the South swell is not high. During low tide, this location has a decent sized beach, but when high tide arrives, the beach almost completely disappears. Lawa'i Beach has restrooms, drinking water, showers, and some shade in the nearby parks. You also have many nearby restaurants for food and parking right across the street from the beach.
