Two Steps / Honaunau Bay Snorkeling

Two Steps / Honaunau Bay, Honaunau-Napoopoo is one of the best locations to snorkel. There are beautiful coral reef canyons, walls and channels to explore with various fish species. The water is clear but not as clear as the snorkeling at the Captain Cook Monument. We have also noticed some larger fish in this location and recommend not snorkeling beyond the last rocky point since it then becomes open waters. Overall, this is one of the best location in the world to snorkel.

You can expect to see various marine life while snorkeling at Two Steps. Many snorkelers and divers have identified Boxfish, Butterflyfish, Chromis, Parrotfish, Puffer Fish, Sergeant, Surgeonfish, Tang, Triggerfish, Unicornfish, Wrasse, Dolphins, Sea Turtles, Octopus, Seahorse, Sea Urchin, Zoanthid, Cauliflower Coral, Rice Coral, Thick Finger Coral, Finger Coral, Coral Lobe and Coral Mounds and Heads.
