Hulopo'e Bay (Shark’s Bay)On the Eastern side of Hulopo'e Bay, Tide Pools (Shark’s Bay) carved from volcanic rock keeps the ocean waters calm for exploring. Snorkelers usually encounter Hermit Crabs, Sea Stars, Opihi (Limpet), Tropical Fish, and Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins. During the winter seasons, you can expect to see Humpback Whales. The Tide Pools, located at Shark’s Bay, is a secluded cove known for its picturesque red lava cliffs and small white sand beach. This is a hidden cove but can be easily accessed thru a trail from Hulopo'e Bay.
