Kahekili Beach Park
Kahekili (Ali'i Kahekili Nui 'Ahumanu) Beach Park, located near 65 Kai Ala Dr, Lahaina, HI 96761 is a long sandy beach strip that offers excellent snorkeling. This is a narrow beach has reefs close to the shore, and runs north for a great distance.
You can easily access the snorkeling area by entering the ocean in front of the pavilion near the parking lot. Use the map to identify the starting location for snorkeling, then swim north as the coral will continue to get healthier and more abundant.
Many snorkelers encounter Blenny Fish, Butterflyfish, Chromis, Cornetfish, Damselfish, Eel, Goatfish, Hawkfish, Needlefish, Parrotfish, Sergeant, Surgeonfish, Tang, Triggerfish, Unicornfish, Wrasse, Sea Urchin, Sea Turtles, and various types of Coral.
This location facilities include: parking, pavilion, restrooms, showers, picnic tables, and BBQ pits.
