Mākaha Beach Park

When the ocean is calm, Makaha Beach Park offers some decent deep snorkeling with some live coral and turtles. Makaha Beach is a decent snorkeling location  during the summer months. Both ends of Makaha Beach Park have rocks and reef, but in the middle is sandy and is the best place to swim or enter into the ocean. You can expect to see Sergeant Fish, Coral, and Hawaiian Sea Turtles, which is the main reason to snorkel at this location
